SmartCap isn’t a conventional fibreglass canopy with a few extras added on.
It is a five-piece, modular canopy system, engineered from automotive-grade stainless steel and designed around strength, accessibility and versatility. Each individual panel is welded and then bolted together during final assembly, creating a rigid, serviceable structure that can be repaired or replaced panel-by-panel if necessary.

The modular construction is one of SmartCap’s biggest advantages.
Instead of one large, permanently moulded shell, SmartCap is assembled from individual panels. This makes the canopy easier to handle, easier to assemble and, importantly, allows individual panels to be replaced should serious damage occur.

GULLWING DOORS
ACCESS WITHOUT COMPROMISE.
SmartCap’s signature Gullwing doors give you dramatically better access to your loadbin.
The openings are approximately 17% taller than most fibreglass canopies, making it easier to reach your equipment, load larger items and organise your loadbin from the side.
Depending on the SmartCap model, you’ll find bonded-glass Gullwing doors or double-walled stainless-steel Gullwing doors, with concealed hinges for a clean, secure design.
PUSH-BUTTON LATCHES

The SmartCap’s push-button door latches give the Gullwing doors a clean, integrated look while making access quick and convenient.
And with SmartCap’s dual-release latch system, the doors can also be opened from inside the canopy using the internal release button — an important safety feature if someone is ever inside the loadbin.
BUILT FROM AUTOMOTIVE-GRADE STAINLESS STEEL
SmartCap is steel, not fibreglass.
The five outer panels are manufactured from automotive-grade stainless steel, using a combination of 1.0, 1.2 and 1.4 mm 3CR12 stainless steel.
That means a canopy designed to handle the knocks, vibration and abuse that come with working, touring and off-road driving.
WEATHERPROOF BY DESIGN
SmartCap’s five-piece construction incorporates an engineered sealing system designed to make the canopy weatherproof when correctly installed.
Add the Positive Pressure Air Vent, and SmartCap is designed not only to keep rain and weather out, but also to help prevent dust from being drawn into the loadbin — particularly valuable when travelling on dirt roads and in dusty conditions.
BUILT TO CARRY MORE
SmartCap isn't just strong around the sides.
Its integrated Universal Roof Rails allow you to add compatible racks and carry equipment such as rooftop tents, bikes, kayaks, ladders and other gear.
The EVO range is rated at up to 330 lb / approximately 150 kg while moving and 770 lb / approximately 349 kg when parked, subject to the load limits of the specific vehicle.

The Gullwing openings are designed to work with SmartCap’s range of modular accessories — including Full-Bins, Half-Bins, Drawer-Bins, Kitchen-Bins and MOLLE-based storage solutions — allowing you to configure the loadbin around your work, touring or adventure needs.
